Our Mission
For too long in America, the rights of LGBTQIA+ people, and more specifically transgender individuals, have been an afterthought for lawmakers. Attacks on anti-discrimination laws, gender affirming care, and the rights of trans adolescents in schools have been met with much progressive uproar, but little legislative action. That's why Trans for Progress is committed to electing officials, supporting propositions, and bolstering movements that positively affect the transgender community. For too long the voices of our community have been unheard- but that ends today.
How we do it -
Innovatve Fundraising Operations
In order to connect with our grassroots donors, we implement a series of community outreach operations that are both classic and novel- Trans for Progress values meeting potential donors in the field in the places they live and work, as well as in digital, online communities.

Whether it be on the street, on social media, or in the podcast space, Trans for Progress wants to capture the attention of everyone who has the possibility to contribute to our mission. We will take the best aspects of the fundraising tactics of old and combine it with a fresh, new style of outreach.
How we do it-
Who we Support
Who and what we support is vey important to us. We value every donation, and will use every cent to the best of our ability to get pro trans legislation passed in Congress and State Legislatures.

When deciding who to back, our team of organizers and political professionals look for those who are electable, and fight for various categories of issues. Those issues are including but not limited to the expansion and protection of access to trans based health care, the passage of anti-discrimination laws, and protection for trans children from discrimination in K-12 schools.

Advocacy
We don't limit our groundbreaking strategies to the fundraising game, we also are on the cutting edge when it comes to our candidate and issue advocacy.
With a team of seasoned organizers working around the clock, Trans for Progress knows how to run traditional field operations- and its short comings. That's why we utilize digital campaigns, community events, and so much more.
